This policy explains how Sweet Recipe Studio handles personal information when you visit sweetrecipestudio.com, buy The Ultimate Café Dessert Collection, or contact us. It separates what is necessary to run the site and deliver your purchase from the non-essential analytics and advertising technologies, which stay off unless you accept them.

Who operates this website

This website is operated by Sweet Recipe Studio, based in Alberta, Canada. The Ultimate Café Dessert Collection is created by Yulia Panarina. You can reach us at sweetrecipestudio@gmail.com or by mail at the address on our Contact page.

The short version

Necessary: what we need to run the site, remember your cookie choice, process your payment through Stripe, and email you your download. This does not depend on your cookie choice.
Non-essential tracking is off until you choose. Google Analytics and Meta advertising measurement, both loaded through Google Tag Manager, are initially disabled. A banner lets you Accept or Reject them.
Accept enables both analytics and advertising measurement, and lets us save first-touch campaign attribution. Reject keeps both disabled.
Choosing Reject does not stop you from buying The Ultimate Café Dessert Collection or receiving your download.

Information we collect and why

Checkout and payment

When you buy, you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe. You give your payment details, email address, and any other details Stripe asks for directly to Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe shares order information with us, such as your email address, the amount, the payment status, and a transaction reference, so we can complete your order. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how Stripe handles your information.

Order fulfillment and support

We use your email address and order details to send you your download link, to confirm and keep a record of the order, to help if something goes wrong with delivery or the file, to handle refund requests, and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. This is done with an automated workflow that uses Make together with Google services: Gmail sends your download email, Google Drive holds the PDF that the link points to, and Google Sheets is used to keep order and delivery records.

Contacting us

This site has no contact form. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include, such as your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message. We use it to respond to you and resolve your request. Please do not send full card numbers, security codes, or passwords.

Necessary storage on your device

We store a small record of your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the name srs_consent. It contains a version number, whether you accepted or rejected non-essential tracking (analytics and advertising always share the same choice), and the time you saved it. It contains no personal information and is used only to remember your choice. Clearing your browser's storage for this site removes it, and the banner will then appear again. The purchase confirmation message you may see after returning from checkout is shown and closed on the page itself and is not stored.

Analytics (only after you Accept)

If you Accept, Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, measures how the site is used. This can include the pages you view, clicks on our purchase buttons, approximate location, device and browser details, and your IP address, and it may use cookies or similar identifiers set by Google. If you Reject, or have not yet chosen, the site tells Google Tag Manager that analytics storage is denied and Google Analytics tags are set up not to run.

Advertising measurement and campaign attribution (only after you Accept)

If you Accept, two things can happen:

Meta advertising measurement. The Meta Pixel, loaded through Google Tag Manager, can tell Meta about your visit and certain actions, such as opening our checkout link. Meta may receive your IP address and browser identifiers and may use its own cookies. Meta uses this under its own policies.
First-touch campaign attribution. If the link that brought you here contains campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), we save those values, plus the time, in your browser's local storage under the name srs_first_touch. We keep only the first set we see. It helps us understand which ads or links brought visitors, and it contains no personal information. We do not add these tags to our checkout link.

If you Reject, or have not yet chosen, we do not save campaign tags in your browser and the Meta Pixel is set up not to run.

Hosting and technical data

The site is delivered through a web hosting provider. Like most hosting providers, it may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested in order to deliver and secure the site. We describe our hosting provider here in general terms; if it changes how it handles this data in a way that matters to you, we will update this policy.

How you control non-essential tracking

The first time you visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Reject non-essential tracking. Until you choose, it stays off. Accept enables both analytics and advertising measurement; Reject keeps both disabled. Your choice is saved in your browser and applied on later visits, and the banner does not appear again while a valid saved choice exists. To reset your choice, clear this site's data (cookies and site storage) in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again and you can choose again. Clearing storage also removes any saved campaign record. Data already sent to Google or Meta is handled under their own policies. We may show the banner again if our use of these technologies changes in a way that matters.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to run the site and deliver your purchase. They process information on our behalf or under their own terms:

Stripe — checkout and payment processing.
Make — the automation that runs order fulfillment.
Google — Gmail (sending your download email), Google Drive (hosting the PDF), Google Sheets (order and delivery records), Google Tag Manager (loading our tools), and Google Analytics (only if you Accept).
Meta — advertising measurement, only if you Accept.
Our web hosting provider — delivering and securing the website.

We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

Processing outside your country

Our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live, and authorities there may be able to access information under their own laws.

How long we keep information

We keep order, fulfillment, and support records for as long as we reasonably need them to provide your download, handle support and refund requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Analytics and advertising data held by Google and Meta is kept under their own settings and policies. Your cookie choice and any saved campaign record stay in your browser until you clear your browser's storage or the banner asks for your choice again. We do not set a fixed retention period for every category, and we delete or anonymize information when we no longer need it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle, and payment card details are handled by Stripe rather than by this site. No website, email, or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, or to withdraw a consent you gave. To make a request, or to ask a privacy question or raise a concern, email sweetrecipestudio@gmail.com or use the details on our Contact page. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request, and some information we must keep to meet legal obligations. You may also have the right to contact a privacy regulator where you live.

Children's privacy

This site and The Ultimate Café Dessert Collection are intended for adults buying a recipe collection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
